Raxona Khanum

Raxona qualified as a solicitor in 2013 in personal injury, clinical negligence and immigration before moving to work in academia in August 2019.

She teaches on Equity and Trusts and Contract Law. Raxona is module leader for Solicitors’ Accounts and Immigration Law. Her core approach to teaching employs a problem-based approach to learning which encourages students to evaluate and apply legal concepts and principles to practical examples.

She is currently a part-time PhD student undertaking a cross-disciplinary PhD at the University of Birmingham on the topic of emotions, affect and immigration law.
