Our internationally renowned School of Jewellery is the largest in Europe, with excellent facilities and expertise to develop your career in this exciting specialist sector.

This inspirational, award-winning setting is the perfect place to undertake jewellery related design courses. We cover all aspects of jewellery, silversmithing, horology and gemmology, using a variety of precious and non-precious metals, gems and experimental materials. Our students also benefit from an enviable range of cutting-edge equipment and technology which is used in industry today.

The Jewellery Quarter still makes much of the jewellery made in Britain today. This thriving hub offers students maximum industry exposure before graduation and you may have the chance to work on live projects while you study.

Located in the heart of Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter, the School was founded in 1890. The Vittoria Street building’s historical facade conceals a contemporary environment including workshops, a specialist library, an atrium gallery and exhibition space.

But in addition to our links with businesses in the surrounding area, we have several relationships with international companies and excellent School links, providing fantastic opportunities for students. Our graduates work for prestigious names such as Tiffany’s, Tag Heuer, Cartier and De Beers, and their jewellery designs have been used in collections for everyone from Argos to Harrods.
