Suzanne Barnes Design Partnership

During their studies on the BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design course, students Shannen Doren and Von Dimson completed a work placement with Suzanne Barnes Design Partnership (SBDP), Interior Design Practice based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Shannen and Von were involved with a couple of small scale residential projects while they were working with SBDP. The projects included a single storey extension and interior refurbishment.

Both students were able to visit the site of one of the project they were working on, giving them.

Before completing their placement, Shannen and Von were tasked with producing rendered plans and elevations for a new local bar/restaurant in the Jewellery Quarter, providing them with valuable real world experience.
