As a general Technician Doris works across all the 3D workshops at Parkside, assisting students from all courses within the faculty with their projects.
Prior to joining the team at BCU, Doris studied BA Product and Furniture Design here, from which Throughout her degree she developed a keen interest in making, and expertise in ceramics. During her studies Doris explored the materiality of objects, the relationships we have with objects, as well as interactive and playful design. Besides this, she thoroughly enjoys designing for children and has a keen interest in both the Bauhaus and Modernist movements in design.
