Andrew grew up in Colombia, and came to the UK to study a degree in Industrial Design (Transportation). He worked in the marine sector mostly, gaining 27 years of experience and designing yachts from 10M to 107M; Motor and sail, slow and fast. Andrew also designed motor homes, private jet interiors and residential interiors and exteriors, and worked for a decade in the Netherlands, as well as projects in over 10 countries. Andrew owns his own design Practice.
Passionate about cycling and human powered vehicles, Andrew is currently designing lightweight pedalecs (pedal/electric vehicles) outside his work at the University. He teaches across a variety of disciplines and levels ranging from Interior Architecture & Design, Product & Furniture Design, Foundation and Design for Future Living.
