We welcome to Luke Gordon-Calvert to the Schools and College outreach team

Luke joins the BCU Schools and College Outreach Team with 15 years of experience delivering higher education outreach and careers activities across the East Midlands. For the last 9 years he has project-managed widening participation programmes as Senior Widening Participation Officer at the University of Derby, including primary age outreach, and Oxbridge progression from low participation neighbourhoods.

Graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Derby, and more recently with a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Development from the University of the West of England, Luke brings valuable skills in data and evaluation, problem-solving, and careers guidance.

Luke will be managing relationships with schools and colleges, delivering activities off-campus and hosting events across BCU, in particular supporting outreach activity for nursing and midwifery programmes at our City South Campus.
