Being Thelonious: Perspectives on Thelonious Monk at 100
A free, half-day symposium celebrating pianist Thelonious Monk will take place on Thursday 15 June at The Parkside Building.
Hosted by Birmingham School of Media and Birmingham Conservatoire, Being Thelonious: Perspectives on Thelonious Monk at 100 will feature a keynote address by Professor Robin D.G. There will also be presentations from Steve Cardenas, Hans Koller, Pedro Cravinho, and Sid Peacock.
