Clive Taylor, winner of three Jewellery Oscars

Cinema is not the only art to be celebrated with Oscars. Every year, the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council hosts a ceremony to award best jewellers in the country. 

The School of Jewellery fared well, arriving second in the competition with 14 Oscars given to nine undergraduates, graduates and alumni. 

Amongst the winners was School of Jewellery graduate, from BA Jewellery & Silversmithing Design for Industry, Clive Taylor, who received a major award for his Executive LED Lamp, who said:
