Motivated by recent wildfires in the Amazon and an article about drones being used to plant trees across the United States, Senior Lecturer in Computer Games Programming, Carlo Harvey; Lecturer in Software Development and Web Programming Richard Davies and Student Success Advisor Nathan Dewell, developed an autonomous virtual drone for their entry.

The drone scans virtual terrain and plants tree saplings in areas identified as being deforested to tackle the current problem of deforestation.
