Navigating Academia and Beyond: The Journeys of Black Males in Higher Education

As part of our commitment to inspiring, accessible, and inclusive practice-based teaching and learning, Birmingham City University is hosting a special symposium exploring the experience of black males in higher education.
The symposium will offer insights into the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Black students in higher education, as well as providing networking opportunities and information about the resources available to support Black males on their educational journeys.
We are delighted to be hosting colleagues from the prestigious Morehouse College, a HBCU (Historical Black College and University) in Atlanta, Georgia, who will be able to share their experiences of education in the US, providing diverse perspectives on this important subject.
