Prince Among Marketing Professionals

A leading Birmingham business professional has taken up a prestigious appointment with the global accreditation body for marketing professionals.

Professor Christopher Prince, Executive Dean of Birmingham City Business School at Birmingham City University has been appointed to the influential Global Advisory Council of Global Marketing Network.

With over 20 experience of designing and delivering in-company education and training for private and public sector organisations in the UK and overseas, Professor Prince speaks at world-wide conferences on corporate education, his area of business expertise.

In addition to his academic role within the University he also acts as an advisor to a number of leading blue-chip companies on management and organisational development. Professor Prince has also served as a member of the UK’s Association of Business Schools’ Executive, and as the Chair of the Management, Organisation and Community Development Steering Committee. He is a former Deputy Editor of the Journal of Strategic Change, and has served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Annual Conference of Management and Executive Development in the USA.

Professor Prince commented: ‘It is a very exciting time to be taking up this most prestigious appointment. I am delighted that Global Marketing Network has asked me to join its Global Advisory Council and I am looking forward to being able to contribute in whichever way I can in any areas the marketing profession feels I might be able to add value.”
