Study at the heart of the city

Our City Centre Campus is made up of four main buildings where you will study. In addition to this, there is a wide range of living accommodation all situated nearby. With everything you need so close to hand, our city centre location is perfect for studying and living in Birmingham.

Travel

The City Centre Campus is a 15 minute walk from Birmingham’s New Street and Moor Street railway stations. From here you can travel to anywhere else in the UK. Birmingham's international airport is also only a few miles from the city centre, and this is served by a regular rail service. Both stations in the centre also serve all local transport in the Birmingham area. There are also regular buses that all run nearby to the city centre campus.

Shopping

You don’t need to go far at all if you want to shop. The nearby Bullring shopping centre has all the major stores you need, and dotted about are many smaller independent shops, all easy to get to from the city centre campus. You don’t need to worry about missing your favourite food from back home either - not far from the campus are a range of international stores and a food market. At the moment, most shops are closed due to the ongoing pandemic, but rest assured, shopping in Birmingham will be back to normal before you know it!

Eating

Right on the doorstep of our City Centre Campus is the area of Digbeth, which is known for a number of independent restaurants and weekly street food events. Venture a little further into the city centre and you will find that Birmingham’s international and diverse community is well-catered for. Near campus, you will be able to discover many places to eat and menus from all over the world. Many restaurants at the moment are operating as takeaway only, so find something you fancy and you can eat it back at your flat!

Going out

When possible, there is a social life to be had right here on campus. Our Eagle and Ball pub, home of the Student's Union regularly holds social events, including ones that are just for our international students to get together. Heading out, nearby Digbeth has a range of activities such as karting and crazy golf. If you want to seek out the best of Birmingham nightlife, there are plenty of bars and clubs that are walkable from the city centre campus, or just a short taxi ride home when it’s late at night! Many entertainment venues are closed at the moment due to the ongoing pandemic, but we can't wait to get back to normality and have some fun.
