Sarah Bond
Sarah qualified as a Children’s Nurse in 2017 from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. From there, she moved to Surrey and began her nursing journey within General Paediatric Nursing where she developed skills within High Dependency, Paediatric Assessment, A&E, Oncology, IV therapy, Cystic Fibrosis, Sickle Cell Anaemia as well as General Medical and Surgical Care.
Sarah then moved into the Specialist Role within Paediatric Diabetes, working in both in and outpatient capacity supporting the continued education and development of patients and staff. She also supported patients transitioning into Adult Care.
Sarah joined BCU as a Clinical Demonstrator in October 2022 before joining the CYP Nursing Team in December 2022. Since joining Sarah has taught across NUR5080 and Module Convened NUR5078 and is currently teaching and supporting first year students on NUR4033. She also supports the Diabetes teaching within third year and has supported and developed content for the Post-Graduate Neonatal course.
Currently Sarah is leading the Recognition scheme Nursing Stars Award and working towards further publications and Research.
