Rhoda Greaves is a Lecturer in Creative Writing in the School of English, where she is currently studying for a Creative Writing PhD. Her thesis includes a collection of short stories and a critical commentary comparing the compression of the short story form with psychological claustrophobia in the home.

Rhoda is also an Associate Editor at Short Fiction magazine, and her short stories have been commended or shortlisted in several prizes including the Bridport Short Story Prize, Manchester Fiction Prize, Bristol Short Story Prize, Frome Short Story Competition and the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award. Her stories have been published in various literary magazines and anthologies including Litro, Short Fiction, The View from Here, Cake, Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology, and the National Flash Fiction Day anthology A Box of Stars Beneath the Bed.
