Programme tbc
Joseph Jacob holds a first-class degree in Music from the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Beginning as a self-taught organist, he was privileged to be a recipient of the Allan & Nesta Ferguson Foundation scholarship award, through which he was able to complete a Postgraduate Diploma study in Organ Performance at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Daniel Moult and Nicholas Wearne.
Having recently completed his MMus programme at RBC, Joseph is currently undergoing a PSP and is deeply grateful to the various donors who have made it possible for him to further develop his skills while serving as an inspiration to young and aspiring organists back home in Nigeria.
Originally from Northumberland, George Moloney read Music at the University of Manchester, learning piano with Duncan Glenday and organ with Simon Leach. In his final year, he held the organ scholarship at St Ann's Church in the city centre. Inspired by his introduction to the Anglican choral repertoire, George decided to take the organ further, commencing his studies with Daniel Moult and Nicholas Wearne at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in September 2024.
George is currently B:Music Organ Scholar and, following his roles as Senior Organ Scholar at St Alphege Church and Accompanist of RBC Chamber Choir, he is also now Organ Scholar at Birmingham Cathedral as he completes the final year of his MMus. George’s studies at RBC are made possible with the support of bursaries from the Royal College of Organists and the Eric Thompson Trust.
