Born in Ukraine, Anastasiia Vasyliuk (pictured) received her early education at the Humanities Gymnasium, where she completed a specialised curriculum with an advanced focus on English and German languages. Alongside her academic studies, she was actively involved in theatre, music and dance, participating regularly in performances, competitions and artistic projects.
From the age of seven, Anastasiia undertook formal musical training, specialising in solo singing and piano performance. During her studies, she achieved numerous awards at international competitions and graduated from music school with honours in 2018. In 2021, she completed her secondary education, achieving the highest possible score in English in the Ukrainian External Independent Assessment. In 2021, she entered the Mykolaiv Professional College of Musical Arts, where she studied Solo Academic Singing and Vocal Pedagogy. She graduated in 2024 with distinction, receiving the highest evaluation for her diploma performance. Since 2023, Anastasiia has been studying at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she is currently in her fourth year of the Bachelor of Music (Performance) degree in Vocal Studies, studying under the guidance of Louise Crane.
Her UK performance career began in 2022 with a concert appearance under the direction of Arcadian Opera. Her operatic experience includes appearances in productions of Faust by Charles Gounod, Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Carmen by Georges Bizet, Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini, and The Merry Widow by Franz Lehár, as well as numerous opera scenes and staged projects at RBC. In addition to her operatic work, Anastasiia is an active concert performer, appearing regularly as a soloist and collaborating with distinguished conductors and musicians, including Justin Lavender, Mary Coats and Heming Li.
