BCBS academic to co-chair international conference

Professor Shiv Chaudhry, Academic and Director of Franchise Programmes within Birmingham City Business School, has been invited to co-chair the International Entrepreneurship track at the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) world annual conference to be held in Wellington, New Zealand later in the year.

Professor Chaudhry, is a world leading academic in the field of marketing and international business whose work is funded through government bodies and industrial/commercial collaborations. His work is extensively published in the high quality academic journal publications and his international links with both industry and academia are extensive.

His appointment to this role is particularly prestigious as the International Council for Small Business conference is the world’s premier small business/entrepreneurship conference and aims to inform researchers, policy makers, educators, and practitioners of the latest developments in the field. Shiv’s primary task as co-chair will be to assess the quality of submitted academic articles, and to judge whether submitters will be accepted into the conference in order that they may present their work.
