Rachel Homer

Rachel qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) whilst working in industry. She began her career in 2000 with Cadbury Schweppes working in the areas of Internal Audit, Management Accounting and IT Project Management across the Cadbury Schweppes Group.

She then swapped chocolate for sparkly fairy wings by moving from Cadbury Schweppes to Claire's Accessories in 2006 to work as a Senior European Internal Auditor.

Rachel moved in to teaching in 2012 and gained experience delivering professional accounting courses including CIMA, ACCA and AAT prior to joining BCU.

Since joining BCU in 2014 she has taught undergraduate accounting modules, delivered accounting for non-specialist modules across the Business School and taught on the Internal Audit Professional Apprenticeship and MSc Internal Audit Management and Consultancy.
