Ethel Inyang is a lecturer in the department of Accountancy and Governance in Birmingham City Business School. Prior to joining BCU, she was a lecturer in the University of Calabar, Nigeria and an audit semi-senior with Deloitte.

She has an MSc in Corporate strategy and governance from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Her research interest is in the area of Corporate Governance, Accounting education and public sector financial management.
