Project title: Halla

Can you tell us a little more about your project?

The project is based around the narrative of items being used in the way a consumer interprets it. It generates a playful characteristic for the product as the purpose can be changed to suit needs and may be different for everyone.

How important is being able to exhibit externally?

For me, being able to exhibit my work externally is priceless. Showcasing the hard work that goes into each project to those who may equally be as interested and passionate is something that I believe is important.

What has your highlight of the course been so far?

For me, being able to exhibit my work externally is priceless. Showcasing the hard work that goes into each project to those who may equally be as interested and passionate is something that I believe is important.

Could you tell us a little more about your design interests?

My design interests are mainly focused on the furniture/lifestyle product side of things. I enjoy the process of working with wood and finishing anything with a pop of colour to make it bold and stand out.

What advice would you give to someone considering studying Product and Furniture Design at BCU?

The best advice I could give is make sure you create and to do what you enjoy. If you like what you are doing, you are passionate and fully involved in the process you will get a lot more from it.
