Chenwei Zhang plays all his own compositions in this recital, including three world premières.
This is also a interesting experiment, as Chenwei utilised different techniques to compose a series of pieces in completely different styles, bringing them together in this recital. These include familiar styles such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Contemporary, and traditional styles from Chenwei's homeland of China.
