Visiting Artist Scott Dickinson performs a vibrant recital of works for viola, with guests Susan Frank and Nicholas Trygstad. Beethoven’s mischievous Eyeglass Duo for Viola and Cello opens the programme, which also includes Ailie Robertson’s Beannacht for Viola and Electronics. Transcriptions of Beethoven’s Notturno Op.42 and Dohnányi’s sumptuous Intermezzo close the programme with sweeps of Romantic colour.
