Professor Wang of Beijing Central Conservatory and his exceptional children give a summer celebration concert.
Chun Wang, a concert pianist and professor of piano at the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) in Beijing, is a Steinway Artist. He received his masters degree from the CCOM, and Professional Studies Certificate from Manhattan School of Music in NYC.
Mr. Wang has given solo, chamber and orchestral performances all over the USA, Hong Kong and China to great acclaim. In 2009, renowned music critic and pianist, David Dubal highly praised Mr. Wang’s performance and invited him to perform three times at the Juilliard School, which won him wide popularity.
Mr. Wang has won a number of awards in various piano competitions. His two solo albums were released by the China Record Corporation in 2010 and 2014.
His DVD recordings of the complete JS Bach Two Inventions and Three Inventions were released in 2000.
Wang Kechun was born into an artistic family. She is currently studying at the high school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music. In July 2021, she won the Melbourne International Piano Competition and second prize in the Canada Joy of Music International Piano Invitational Competition in 2022. In July 2024 she won top prize in I Music International Piano Competition in Incheon, South Korea. She was also awarded first prize in the Chinese finals of the Singapore International Piano Competition and the third prize in the global finals.
Yinbo Wang who was born in 2007, is a violinist who, from a very young age, has been recognised and praised for his virtuosity and poetic artistry. As a soloist, Yinbo made his debut with the Sichuan Philharmonic in 2015 performing the Vivaldi Violin Concerto. Since then, he has appeared on renowned stages, including the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Forbidden City Concert Hall, National Library Arts Center and Renmin University of China Concert Hall.
