Paul Dunmall Quartet with Liam Noble, John Edwards and Kai Chareunsy
Of all the groups that Paul has played and recorded with in recent years, his absolute favourite is the quartet that has recorded four albums including the most recent Here Today Gone Tomorrow on the prestigious French label RogueArt. The quartet makes a welcome return to the Eastside club; it features Liam Noble on piano, John Edwards on double bass and on this occasion drummer Kai Chareunsy, a fairly recent graduate from the jazz course who Paul has played with on a number of occasions as part of his policy of supporting young Birmingham based improvisers.
Expect music of the highest order, intense, high energy and very exciting.
