Brass players are invited to Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to enjoy a day of jazz workshops, masterclasses, rehearsals and performances, led by world-class tutors from the RBC Jazz Department, including Percy Pursglove (trumpet), Dave Sear (trombone) and Shanti Jayasinha (trumpet).
Attendees will be able to meet current RBC Jazz Students and find out more about the jazz course and student life in Birmingham.
Short consultation lessons with RBC tutors will also be available throughout the day for specific advice on instrumental technique, different approaches to improvisation, and preparation for conservatoire auditions.

Minimum age 14 (all under-18s must be accompanied by an adult) and minimum ABRSM grade 5 or equivalent.
