This evening concert includes three pieces, which are all composed by British composers in the 20th century.
Fangtong Liu was awarded the BMus (Hons) (2016) and MMus degree (2017) at Royal Northern College of Music, where she studied with Professor Li and Alexander Sitkovetsky. She has successfully held solo and chamber recitals every year, including many repertoires in China and Europe. From 2018-2020, she took on the position of violin teacher and assistant music director at HKIVS, one of the major music schools in Hong Kong. During this period, she taught many students and performed regularly.
She has recently recorded her first CD with the China Record Company.
Fangtong is currently studying at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on the of Advanced Postgraduate Diploma programme with Roman Mints and Ivo Stankov.
