Trumpet Club brings together the trumpet players of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Each week, they meet to learn from and collaborate with each other in a combination of individual performance and exciting chamber music. Formed in the late '90s by Andrew Stone-Fewings to promote camaraderie between the trumpet students, the weekly sessions provide stimulating opportunities to improve technical skills and musicality while developing the close-knit connections within the department. Alongside its annual performances as part of the Conservatoire’s lunchtime concert series, the RBC Trumpet club has recently performed at St Martin in the Bullring, and as part of the 140th Birthday Celebrations of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
Owing to unforeseen circumstances, Mairi McGillivray is unable to perform today. We apologise for any disappointment.
