Overview

If you're intending to apply for accommodation and have not already done so, we strongly advise you to apply immediately. You can apply online.

Please note that due to unprecedented demand for campus accommodation, UK students are not guaranteed a room in our halls of residence. We will offer you accommodation for your first year of study provided:

  • you have accepted an offer on a full-time course at Birmingham City University
  • you live further than 10 miles from your place of study

If your home/correspondence address is within 10 miles from your place of study, we are unable to guarantee you a room in our accommodation. Your application will however remain on a waiting list should rooms become available. These applications will be reviewed at the end of the allocation process in late August/September.

If we are unable to accommodate you ourselves, we will assist you by providing contact details and information on how to find accommodation in the private sector.
