Following undergraduate studies at the City of Birmingham Polytechnic and completing postgraduate studies at the University of Law in Chester, Janet qualified and practised as a solicitor in Birmingham for a number of years before starting a career as an academic in 2005.
She has extensive experience designing and managing courses and modules and teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
She is currently the Module Leader for Land Law (LLB) and the Associate Course Director (Level 6) on the LLB suite of awards.
