There is a supportive and growing Polish community in Birmingham, and Polish students will feel very welcome in our city.

Polish food shops are common in Birmingham, as well as restaurants and bars. You’ll also experience a warm heritage in our city, with a mixture of historical architecture and brand new buildings.

Birmingham Airport has direct flights to and from Bydgoszcz.

Undergraduate courses

For most courses requiring 112 UCAS entry points, applicants are usually required to pass Matura with an average of 60% including a minimum of three subjects taken at Extended Level, and achieve 55% in maths at Standard Level. For technical or engineering courses, we accept Matura with an average of 60% including a minimum of three subjects taken at Extended Level, including 60% in maths at Extended Level.

For English Language proficiency we require an IELTS score 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent. Please note, some courses may require a higher IELTS.

Postgraduate courses

To be considered for a place on a Master’s or Postgraduate Certificate course, you will normally be a graduate of a Polish or UK university. Students from Polish universities who have a Licencjat with either 5/A/Bardzo Dobry or 4/B/Dobry are eligible to apply.

For MBAs you will also need two years’ work experience at managerial level and a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 575 CBT or 232 PBT or equivalent.
