It Is preferable that during the recordings the choir is visible as well as the conductor.
UK applicants will need to prepare two pieces for audition:
Victoria O quam gloriosum (European Sacred Music volume from OUP ed. Rutter)

UK applicants should also be prepared for aural tests of various kinds and sight reading in their interview after the audition.
As part of your audition there will be an informal interview. The panel will be interested to hear you talk about your artistic influences, your inspiration to be a musician and your career objectives.
This is also an opportunity for you to ask the panel questions about your department and what life will be like as a musician in Birmingham. The interview will also include aural tests.
