Wavelength Gig
Celebrating ten years of Quench Arts’ Wavelength project, come and hear music created by the young people across this project year. Wavelength is a creative music making project for young people with mental health conditions. The music and lyrics have been written by participants, with help from our facilitating music leaders. Wavelength focuses on creative music making to develop emotional literacy (the ability to talk about feelings and emotions), and also uses music to build social connections and self-esteem.
Wavelength is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, Services for Education (the Birmingham Music Education Hub) and The Clive Richards Foundation.
This gig will be a brilliant opportunity for the young people to perform, often for the first time, to a supportive audience.
Running time approx. two hours including interval
