Paul Dunmall Invites: Ollie Canham, Olie Brice, Will Glaser
Paul Dunmall has always taken an interest in jazz students emerging from the Conservatoire course and given them opportunities to develop skills in the area of free improvisation. One of the students who has impressed Paul was guitarist Ollie Canham (pictured) who has recently graduated from the course.
While on the Jazz course, Ollie was, in 2022, the co-winner with Adam Roberts of the Phil Miller Guitar Prize, and in 2023 he won the Mike Gibbs Composition and Arranging Prize. Will Glaser will be playing with Paul for the first time, who's a top drummer much in demand on the London scene. Olie Brice, on the other hand, plays regularly with Paul and always provides a strong rhythmic support.
