“Music can take you anywhere when played like this.” The Guardian ★★★★★
Like the eponymous bear, the Paddington Trio’s first adventure began at the famous London station. That was in 2020, a year after they first met, and the Trio – Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty and American pianist Stephanie Tang – are making their mark very quickly. Now is a great time to catch them!
In just five years, they’ve won multiple prestigious awards, including the Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings & Piano Ensemble and Triomphe de l’Art International Competition, and have become a fixture on the chamber music and festival circuit. Among prominent venues and series, they’ve appeared at Wigmore Hall, LSO St Luke’s, Buxton International and Lichfield Festivals and Festival Flanders Ghent.
Tuulia, Patrick and Stephanie have also had the privilege to work closely with internationally renowned musicians such as Alfred Brendel, Robert Levin, and members of the Takács and Endellion Quartets.
Running time approx. one hour and 15 minutes
