Immerse yourself in the fabulous atmosphere of the films of Oscar-winning Japanese director, animator and manga artist Hayao Miyazaki.
For their Miyazaki Dreams concert, the virtuoso players of Mystery Ensemble – well-known for their thrilling performances of popular soundtracks – have collected magical music from his animations and compositions inspired by his creations. Expect renowned works composed by the ingenious Joe Hisaishi, including My Neighbor Totoro, the legendary movie Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and others. The programme also includes works by other composers inspired by Miyazaki’s artworks.
Musical themes will take you deep into the world of the famous animated stories, introducing brave heroines, magical creatures and characters inspired by Japanese folklore.
