Natasha Pope
Assistant Lecturer
After completing both her BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology and MSc Forensic Psychology at Birmingham City University, Natasha is now in the final stages of her PhD. Her PhD research examines youth knife crime within the West Midlands and the efficacy of current approaches implemented to reduce this phenomenon.

Dr Chrisa Pornari is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology, a Chartered Psychologist, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She joined Birmingham City University in 2013 and she teaches on the MSc Forensic Psychology and the BSc Psychology courses.

Dr Paraic Scanlon entered the world of academia through his interest in cognitive development, how the brain grows and changes, and the impact that ageing has on that process. Paraic completed his PhD at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, in 2010 and has worked at UCL and now BCU as a researcher and lecturer.

Amy-Louise graduated from Psychology and completed her Masters in Applied Research at Staffordshire University.
