Panos is an Associate Professor in Social Psychology at Birmingham City University. Prior to this appointment he was employed as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Social Psychology at the University of Essex and as a Policy Advisor/Scientific Officer for an international organisation.

Panos holds a strong research and teaching passion with almost everything that has to do with social and cultural psychology. Behind his decision to become an academic was his strong interest to try to understand how different societal and cultural processes can influence the way that we perceive the world, feel and behave. More importantly, Panos uses his research to inform his teaching in social and cultural psychology related modules.
