Twelfth Night
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Emily Raymond
All is not what it seems in this tale of mistaken identity, loss, love, passion and high jinx! One of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies comes bursting to life in this 1960s inspired production, full of wit, wickedness and wonder...
Twelfth Night is a tale of unrequited love - hilarious and heart breaking. A wild storm brings disruption to Illyria’s shores. Twins Viola and Sebastian are separated after their ship is wrecked at sea, and forced to fend for themselves in a strange land. Beautiful rich Olivia, her admirer Count Orsino, and both of their households are caught up in the unfolding story. Will Sir Toby persuade Sir Andrew to stay another month? Will Malvolio’s dream really come true? Will Orsino finally win Olivia’s love and will Viola manage to untangle the love triangle she finds herself at the centre of? If music be the food of love... play on.
