Xuan Shuangshuang graduated from the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, with a master’s degree in 2012. Her outstanding track record includes a final award in the 10th National Vocal Music Competition, one of the 20 selected nationwide for the Shanghai Zhou Xiaoyan Opera masterclass, second prize in the youth group of the Verdi International Vocal Music Competition in the China South Central Region, and a silver award in the Second Peacock Award for bel canto singing at the graduate student level. She taught at Wuhan Art School for four years, and was named “Excellent Teacher” in 2009. From 2018, she taught undergraduate students at Wuhan Conservatory of Music. She successfully organised and rehearsed consecutive opera duet concerts in 2018-2019.
