It’s 1939 and the quiet lives of Miss Todd, a well respected spinster, and her witty maid Laetitia, are disrupted when a mysterious rain-soaked stranger, called Bob, shows up at their door. Captivated, they invite him to stay for a whole week, only to discover that he may be a dangerous criminal. How far will Miss Todd and Laetitia go to uphold their reputation… and to keep their guest?
Join us for an evening of gossip, desire and deception as the chaos unravels in a production of Menotti’s The Old Maid And The Thief, led by students of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
