Generations in Harmony
A varied programme featuring celebrated songs from musicals, films and more.
Millie Royle is currently in her fourth year of vocal studies at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. A performer from a early age, Millie began her training in musical theatre, gaining vast experience in numerous groups across Greater Manchester. Many years of one-to-one singing lessons led to a love of classical music, specifically opera. Consequently, Millie decided to pursue her passion at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Alongside her musical studies at the Conservatoire, Millie has discovered a great passion for outreach work through her participation in various community projects with RBC. Seeing first hand the ways in which music can positively impact a community is what inspired this event.
All generations share a love of music and its associated memories, regardless of style or genre, and this concert wonderfully embraces this sentiment. Join soprano Millie Royle, Colmore Junior School Choir, Sutton Coldfield’s Everybody Sings Choir and other conservatoire students to celebrate the music loved by generations!
Repertoire is varied - exploring popular songs from the past to present, musical numbers, songs and opera.
Running time approx. one hour
