Pianist David Ebner

David Ebner piano

Mozart Adagio in B minor
Haydn Sonata in E minor
Schubert Sonata in A major

This recital explores the double-faced nature of three of classical music’s most famous composers, Mozart, Haydn, and Schubert. David will perform three carefully selected masterpieces all of which oscillate between expressions of exultation and lament. Throughout the concert, it will become possible to experience the characteristic lightness often attributed to the programme’s three composers in a new way: as a thin rope hanging over an unfathomable abyss.

Running time approx. 50 minutes
