Birmingham Game Music Ensemble
Conductor Tommaso Nista
Embark on a musical journey through rivalries, ruins and realms. FACTIONS brings live orchestral arrangements from some of gaming’s most iconic scores — exploring diverse cultures and the stories that shape them: rising civilisations, post-apocalyptic survival, stealth and revolution, and fantasy lands of warriors and dragons. Expect a range of works from some of the most iconic videogame series, performed by a tight, expressive chamber orchestra and led by a programme of exciting arrangers.
This is an evening for gamers, soundtrack lovers and anyone who wants to experience how music gives voice to competing worlds and the people who live in them. You don’t want to miss this concert!
