RBC Banda Brasileira is a new large ensemble which explores the many-faceted music of Brazil, from Samba and Baião to the folkloric music from the North East of Brazil - Maracatú, Ijexá and Samba Reggae.
We don't forget the sophisticated sound of Bossa Nova which sprung up in the clubs of Rio de Janeiro in the early 1960s.
