The 14th Leamington Music Prize will be awarded on Monday 20 March when at least six ensembles compete in RBC's Recital Hall.
The winners will receive prize money of at least £1,250 and will be given a concert in Leamington Music’s prestigious winter season. The Prize is funded by the Friends of Leamington Music.
Last year’s winners were the Félicité Piano Trio (pictured), and previous winners have included soloists, guitar and percussion duos, piano trios, a saxophone quartet and brass and wind quintets.
A number of winners have gone on to have more engagements with Leamington Music. In this year’s Leamington Music Festival, which runs 27 April to 1 May, pianist Roman Kosyakov, a winner in 2019, will appear for a second time.
The competition begins at 6pm and is shared with the Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize, with winners announced at 8.30pm.
