As a senior lecturer at Birmingham City University she teaches at all levels from undergraduates to MSc. Marion's interest in teaching began in the clinical area as a mentor to nursing students on their clinical placements. Marion strongly believes that for mental health to be detected early it must start with mental health promotion in the wider communities. She regularly promotes mental health information and mental wellbeing in local churches and youth centres.
