Alice is a Lecturer within the Department of Children and Young People’s health, which she joined in October 2023.

She graduated as Children’s Nurse in Rome, and she moved to Liverpool, at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to work in PICU. After two years, she moved to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she specialised in critical care. She joined the PICU education team, while still working clinically. In May 2021, she joined the University of Wolverhampton, as a Practice Educator. Within this role, she supported students from all nursing fields in improving their clinical skills in the practical labs. She was promoted to a Lecturing role withing the Children Nursing Department, and, in October 2023, she joined Birmingham City University as a Lecturer in Children and Young People’s Health.
