String Gym Advanced @ Royal Birmingham Conservatoire is an exciting opportunity for young musicians who are considering studying performance at a higher level to explore conservatoire strings activity for a day.

Bring your instrument and join us for an inspiring day of workshops, masterclasses, and side-by-side rehearsals and performance led by our internationally renowned string faculty. Experience learning alongside current students and discover what it’s like to study at one of the UK’s leading conservatoires.

String teachers: Please join us to observe string orchestra rehearsals, teaching and masterclasses. Explore new ideas and methods of teaching, inspiring and engaging young musicians.

Suitable for musicians of a Grade 7+ standard, aged 15+ who are considering study at Conservatoire. String teachers are also welcome to attend.
