Spend Friday 4 September 2026 writing songs with guidance from Sacha Skarbek (Adele, James Blunt, Miley Cyrus) and Ben Parker (Sons of Town Hall) at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Starts with a live Sodajerker interview to get you inspired, then small-group writing workshops in the Conservatoire's studios with feedback from Sacha and Ben as the sessions unfold.
Who is it for?
Practising and aspiring songwriters at any level, from hobbyists to music students and semi-professional writers. It’s for anyone who wants to sharpen their craft with direct feedback from established songwriters.
No qualifications or prior training are required, though you should be comfortable sharing works in progress. Fans of the Sodajerker podcast will feel right at home.
