Shostakovich and His World
50 years after his death, join us for a week-long exploration of the chamber music of Dmitri Shostakovich as well as composers who were influenced by his music.
Through daily lunchtime and rush hour concerts, RBC students and staff will perform music by Shostakovich as well as Alfred Schnittke, Sofia Gubaidulina, Mieczysław Weinberg, Galina Ustvolskaya, Boris Tishchenko, and Benjamin Britten.
